This is the very popular fish component of Dôme — the food domain created by Paris-trained chef Julien Burlat with stylist Sophie Verbeke (ex-Dries Van Noten) and architect Paul Wauters. Their signature restaurant Dôme closes in December 2016 (reopened by chef Frédéric Chabbert in July 2017), but Burlat and Verbeke are keeping the adjacent white and sleek Dôme sur Mer, located just next door, as is one of the Burlat and Verbeke's two excellent Domestic bakery/patisseries [see entries]. Located not far from Café Den Draak [see entry], not to mention one of the continent's finest concentrations of art nouveau dwellings.
